How will members access my membership?

Once someone becomes a member, they can access everything included with their plans directly on your website. This can include content, courses, community discussions, and their MemberSpace account.

The MemberSpace Button

The MemberSpace Button appears on your website and serves as the main gateway to your membership.

When members select the button, MemberSpace opens directly on your website so they can access their Spaces and manage their account.

The button also displays a notification bubble when members have new updates in their What’s New feed.

Notifications only appear on the MemberSpace Button. MemberSpace Links do not display the notification bubble. If you embed MemberSpace on a page, members will automatically see their Spaces along with any notification alerts.

What Members Can Do

Depending on the Spaces and plans they have access to, members can:

  • Explore their Spaces — Access available content, courses, and community discussions.
  • View content — Open members-only posts, files, videos, links, and pages.
  • Participate in the community — Create community posts, leave comments and replies, and react to posts.
  • Stay updated — View new content, community discussions, and other notifications in their What’s New feed.
  • Follow discussions — Follow individual posts or an entire Community Space to receive relevant updates.
  • Bookmark content — Save content to their personal list for easy access later.
  • Search — Quickly find content and discussions within their available Spaces.
  • Manage their account — Update their profile, change their password, manage their plans, update payment methods, and review invoices.

In addition to creating content, courses, and communities directly in MemberSpace, you can lock pages on your website and make them available only to members with access.

This allows you to design and manage the pages through your website platform while MemberSpace controls who can view them.

However, keep the following in mind:

  • Less secure — Protecting a page on your website is not as secure as hosting content directly in MemberSpace.
  • Best for simpler experiences — Locked pages can work well for basic website content. For files, videos, sensitive resources, courses, or community discussions, we recommend creating the experience directly in MemberSpace.
