What are Community Spaces?

Community Spaces give your members a dedicated place to connect, ask questions, and participate in discussions inside your member experience.

Community Spaces are different from Content Spaces. A Content Space is best for organizing and sharing member-only resources and content as well as locking pages on your website. A Community Space is designed for conversation, with posts and replies that help members interact with each other over time.

Use a Community Space when you want to create a forum-style area, member discussion feed, Q&A area, accountability group, or private member community.

When to use a Community Space

Create a Community Space when you want members to:

  • Start conversations
  • Reply to each other
  • Ask questions
  • Share updates
  • Participate in a member-only discussion area

Use comments on content instead when you want members to discuss a specific video, lesson, download, or resource.

Access to Community Spaces

Like other Spaces, Community Spaces can be made available to specific plans. For example, you could give members on a free plan access to a general Community Space, while paid members get access to additional premium spaces.
