How do you manage failed payments?

This guide is part of our Admin FAQ series.

We'll always try to auto-recover your member's failed charges, abandoned sign-ups, or cancelation attempts for you! When you have members paying you a recurring payment, sometimes the payment will fail for various reasons (e.g. the member got a new credit card). MemberSpace will automatically retry the payment and prompt your member to update their credit card details via best-practice email templates & website popups.

Our failed payments recovery is based on  Stripe's retry logic. We will retry that charge 4 times over the course of 3 weeks. On the 4th failed attempt, their plan will be canceled immediately and they will lose access to any pages and content that the plan granted them access to.
