Which payment methods can my members use?

With MemberSpace's Stripe integration, you can securely process payments from members using all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.), while supporting various currencies.

On your MemberSpace payment form, customers are also given the option to autofill their payment info via Link, Stripe's quick-pay checkout experience. This provides members with a faster checkout and can improve your conversion rates.

Apple Pay and Google Pay

Apple Pay and Google Pay (quick-pay checkout options) will appear on your MemberSpace payment form for customers for whom they apply:

  • The availability of Apple Pay and Google Pay is dependent on each customer's device and browser. (For example, Apple Pay is only available on Apple devices.)
  • Apple Pay is available for sites on the following website platforms: Squarespace, WordPress, Duda, Carrd, and all non-CMS sites (i.e. custom HTML).

For sites on some website platforms, each of these payment methods will automatically display as an option on your payment form — there's nothing you need to do to set them up.

If you have a Carrd, custom HTML, WordPress.com, or WordPress.org site, you'll need to follow the steps below to enable Apple Pay on your site.

Custom HTML, WordPress.com, and WordPress.org

  1. Download Stripe's Apple Pay file
  2. Host it at /.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association on your site.

For example, if your website domain is https://example.com, make that file available at https://example.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.
