(Legacy Feature) How to setup Mailchimp integration
This integration is no longer being offered to newer customers. Instead, we recommend you use our more robust and flexible Zapier integration to connect MemberSpace with Mailchimp.
If you plan on importing members from another platform into MemberSpace, make sure you set up the MailChimp integration below so it includes the “Choose list per Member Plan” option for each of the plans your imported members are joining. Otherwise, any imported members will be removed from any MailChimp lists they are currently part of.
First, you'll need to connect your MailChimp account to MemberSpace; it only takes one click:
Afterward, you'll now have two different options for configuring your MailChimp integration.
Option 1 - Automatic opt in
Click Customize in the top navigation > click Integrations > then click MailChimp
If you would like to have all new member signups automatically added to a single list in MailChimp, you can do that here:
If you would like members added to specific lists in MailChimp based on which member plans they join, you can do that here:
If you add members to a specific list based on the specific Member Plan they join in MemberSpace, they will also automatically be removed from that list if they ever cancel or are removed from that Member Plan. They will also be removed from the list if you try to add them via any other way (outside of MemberSpace) if they have canceled or been removed from that Member Plan.
When you are done, click “Save Now” at the bottom of the page.
