How to add a Member Link popup to WordPress

You can easily add a Login form popup into your top navigation or within a specific page of your website.

When members are logged in, the popup will appear as a "Your Account" link automatically so your members can change their email, view invoices, update their payment method, cancel their subscription, etc.

Instructions for adding the popup to your site's navigation and/or a specific page are below.

Adding to your site's navigation

In this example, we're using the "Modern Business" theme from WordPress so the wording and options you see in the steps below may vary depending on the theme you're using.

  1. In MemberSpace, click Customize in the left navigation > click Integrations > click WordPress > scroll down to Member Link Options and click the Copy button under Popup:

  2. Make sure you are logged into your WordPress backend editor.
  3. Click on Customize under Appearance:

  4. Click on Menus:

  5. Click on the Primary Menu:

  6. Then, click on Add Items (at the bottom) > click Custom Links:

  7. After, paste what you previously copied into the URL field > add any Link Text you want > click Add to Menu:

  8. Lastly, don't forget to click Publish to save your changes. To test this, you'll need to be on your live website (not the WordPress editor).

By default, the Login form will include a Create Account button. If needed, you can remove or edit the Create Account button.
