How to set up a private podcast using Transistor and Zapier

If you'd like to create a private podcast for your membership, you can do so using Transistor and Zapier. Using Zapier will allow you to connect your membership site with your private podcast on Transistor.

To set up a private feed, you'll need a Transistor "Pro" or "Business" account. We are recommending Transistor through an affiliate link, which means we earn a commission if you choose to purchase, at no additional cost to you.

Step 1: Create a private podcast in Transistor

  1. Sign up for Transistor (or log in if you have an existing account).
  2. Click Add a Show at the top, right:

  3. Next, scroll down and click Configure a private podcast:

  4. Add your podcast details (i.e. title, description, artwork, etc.).
  5. After, click Create Private Podcast at the bottom:

Step 2: Add your first episode to your private podcast

  1. Click Add your first episode:

  2. Upload your first podcast episode and add the details for that new episode.
