(Legacy Customers) Managing single-page products

If you protected pages on your website before March 5, 2024, your previously protected pages are now single-page products.

Your updated MemberSpace admin is structured around products, which are comprised of specific protected pages on your website.

We recommend organizing your existing protected pages as products, which makes it easier to manage and sell your digital content. However, if you'd like, you can continue using MemberSpace with single-page products.

Editing existing single-page products

Your previously protected pages now live under Products in your MemberSpace backend.

You'll notice that each page has been added to its own product.

To edit an existing protected page's settings, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Edit next to an existing product.

  2. The product type for each of your single-page products has automatically been determined as "Other." If your product falls within a different category, feel free to select it from the dropdown.

  3. Here, you can adjust the Product Name as well as the protected page settings.
  4. Then, click Update Now at the bottom.

Adding new single-page products

Adding single-page products is similar to the previous process of protecting individual pages.

  1. Under Products in your MemberSpace backend, click Add Product.

  2. Select a product type from the dropdown, and give your product a name. If you're only protecting one page, the Product Name could be the same as the title of the page you're protecting.

  3. Then, under Where is your product?, click On my website to protect a page on your connected website.

Note: Products now also include the ability to add external links to other websites (like a private social media group, a Zoom meeting link, a Google Drive folder, etc.).

  4. Give your page a title, choose an emoji (or remove it altogether), and enter the slug for the page on your website.

  5. Configure the remaining settings for the protected page. Choose when access is available (e.g. make it available immediately or drip access), and determine whether or not you'd like to include the page in your Member Menu.
  6. Finally, click Add Now at the bottom.

Single-page products in your Member Menu

As long as the Product Name and Page Title match and the emoji selected for both is the same, your page will automatically be displayed as a standalone item in your Member Menu.

However, if the titles and emojis do not match, the protected page will appear within a product dropdown in your Member Menu.

To group your protected pages in your Member Menu, follow our guide to organize your existing pages as multi-page products.
