How to install MemberSpace on WordPress
There are two ways to install MemberSpace on your WordPress site. If you've already signed up for MemberSpace and started onboarding, continue with the following steps. If you have not yet created a MemberSpace account, skip to the Installing MemberSpace from the WordPress directory section below.
- Log into your WordPress admin site (if using wordpress.com, you'll need to be subscribed to their Business plan or higher to install MemberSpace).
Go to the Plugins section in the menu on the left.
Click the Upload button in the top right and add the plugin file.
From there, click the Manage plugin button.
Then, click Configure Settings at the top.
Click Go to your MemberSpace backend and begin customizing your MemberSpace.
Now people can visit your website and join your plans to get access to your products and protected pages!
To test your member experience, you'll need to be on your live website (not the WordPress editor).
Once you successfully install MemberSpace, your Member Button will automatically display in the bottom right corner of all your website’s pages. If you'd like, you can customize or disable the Member Button.
Installing MemberSpace from the WordPress directory
- Log into your WordPress admin site (if using wordpress.com, you'll need to be subscribed to their Business plan or higher to install MemberSpace).
Go to the Plugins section in the menu on the left.
Search for "MemberSpace" and click the plugin.
Next, click Install and activate.
From there, click the Manage plugin button.
Then, click Configure Settings at the top.
After, click Create your account.
- Sign up for MemberSpace and follow the onboarding prompts.
After you connect your website and create a plan, simply click Verify Install during the next onboarding step. You do not need to download the plugin.
Now people can visit your website and join your plans to get access to your products and protected pages!
