Organizing the new Member Menu

If you've been using MemberSpace on your website before May 13, 2025, follow the steps in this guide to organize your content (previously products).

This guide covers how to organize your existing protected pages into multi-page products.

Your existing products

Your updated MemberSpace admin is structured around Content, which are collections of specific content displayed in the Member Menu. You can still lock pages, but the view for the Menu will be increased and organized more like a content library than a simple menu.

Instead of organizing collections of page URL's to lock, now you will be organizing collections of content, which include the option to lock pages.

Any pages you previously protected with MemberSpace can now be found under Content. Each product has been converted into its own Collection.

With this new view you have a couple options:

Decide how you'll group your products into content

First, choose how you'll organize your existing products into content collections.

For example, you may want to group your existing pages all into a single collection with the new layout. If you still have tiered access or different collections you want to display, you can adjust or edit accordingly.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Protected pages can be added to multiple collections or consolidated into one collection.
  • Plans now grant access to content collections, not products.

Convert single page products into a single collection

Under Content in the left navigation, select the locked pages from individual collections and drag them all into one consolidated collection. This can help enhance the member view and ease of use with the new library views.

Repeat this process for any remaining locked pages and then delete the collections you don't want anymore. When finished you should have a single collection with access to all of the locked pages.

Disable the Member Menu

If you do not want to use the new Member Menu you can turn it off.

When the Member Menu is disabled, the default floating Member Button and any Member Link options on your site will open the account area.
