How to remove the MemberSpace install code

We do not recommend removing your install code unless you've canceled MemberSpace.  Otherwise, the content protection and plan signup functionality will not work.

Once you’ve canceled your MemberSpace account, you’ll need to remove the MemberSpace install code from your website. If you leave the install code on your website, we will no longer protect your pages or display the default Member Button. However, an error message will appear if any MemberSpace links or embedded content is left on your site.

The below examples will trigger the error message if they remain on your site:

  • Content Links
  • Signup Links
  • Member Links
  • Embedded Forms

To remove the MemberSpace install code from your website, find the correct install guide below that matches your website platform. Then, follow the steps to locate the install code in the global header section of your website, and delete the code.
